Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence

About this course

The Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the IIT Professional Development Unit runs for three months and 48 hours, on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. Classes are instructor-led on campus, and distance learning is also offered. Eleven modules start with an introduction to AI and the mathematics behind it (linear algebra, probability and statistics), then exploratory data analysis, machine learning, deep learning and neural networks, computer vision, natural language processing and generative AI, ending with ethics, bias and responsible AI. The prerequisites are basic computer literacy, high-school-level mathematics, an interest in AI and your own laptop. School completers, students, professionals and entrepreneurs are all listed as suitable.
