The BA (Hons) Business Management is a four-year, full-time degree awarded by the University of Westminster, UK, and recognised by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. It is taught through the IIT Business School in Colombo. The first two years cover the core of management: economics and the business environment, analytics for decision making, organisational behaviour, accounting and finance, marketing, operations and supply chains, and leadership. Year 3 is a 12-month industrial placement, and students who pass both placement project modules receive the award title "with Professional Experience". In the final year you complete shared modules in strategic management, contemporary business issues and employability, and then follow one of three pathways: Digital Business, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship. IIT describes the entrepreneurship pathway as the only one of its kind at undergraduate level in Sri Lanka.
