Universal College Lanka describes itself as a transnational higher education provider that delivers qualifications through partnerships with universities in the UK, Australia and Canada. Its campus is in Colombo, near the Diyawanna Lake area.
Most UCL degrees on Uplift are awarded by the University of Lancashire, UK. Some UCL listings still use the university's former name, the University of Central Lancashire. It is the same university: England's Office for Students approved the new name.
After O/Ls: the British Foundation Programme
The British Foundation Programme is for students who have completed O/Ls and want to start on a degree path without waiting for A/Ls.

After A/Ls: UCL bachelor's degrees
Five three-year degrees share one simple entry rule, which makes UCL open to students from every A/L stream:
Two simple passes at local A/L in any stream, or two D passes at Edexcel or Cambridge A/L, and
O/L English at Grade C or above, or A/L General English at Grade B or above.

The AI and Data Science degree adds an optional fourth year with an industry placement. Its listing names roles such as machine learning engineer, data analyst and business intelligence analyst.
Engineering at UCL
The BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year degree with a higher entry bar: 60% at local A/L with Mathematics and Physics at Grade C, plus IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5.
Programs with a partner university abroad
Two UCL programs are built with partner universities outside the UK, and their structure is worth reading closely.
Bachelor of Business (International Hotel and Resort Management). Awarded by Torrens University Australia through the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School. Year 1 is at UCL in Colombo, where you study a Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Hospitality Management, at LKR 900,000 for that year. Years 2 and 3 are taught at the Blue Mountains campus in Australia.
Bachelor of Applied Computer Science. Four years, awarded by Dalhousie University (Canada). The listing does not say how the four years are split, so ask UCL where each year is taught before you apply.
