A four-month English-medium certificate in HR practice covering recruitment, performance, industrial relations, welfare and HRIS.
People with an HR foundation, undergraduates and A/L holders with some work experience can use this certificate to move into managing people. Classes are part time or on weekends. Four modules cover management and the business environment, organisational behaviour, key HRM result areas such as manpower planning, recruitment, grievances, training and industrial relations, and skills such as quantitative techniques, HRIS, presentations and a project report. English-medium classes are offered at Colombo, Rajagiriya, Kandy, Kurunegala, Galle and Matara, over four months. The fee is LKR 75,000 plus LKR 2,000 for registration, and the page does not name an awarding body.
