About this course

This diploma is designed for practising managers and executives in banking and finance who want a professional qualification and higher knowledge while continuing to work. IBSL also lists training in business finance management, with attention to how general management affects an organisation, and wider knowledge of organisational functions, effectiveness and people management. The 104-hour programme has ten modules: Management for Financial Organisations, Economics for Bankers, Leasing and Insurance, Basic Accounts and Financial Management, Credit Management, Portfolio Management and Risk Management, Project Appraisal and Financing, Strategic Planning for Finance and Bank Business, Branch Banking, and a Project Report. The last published intake met on Saturday afternoons, from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and the language of instruction is English. A certificate is awarded.
