About this course

Agriculture graduates, diploma holders, practising professionals and anyone with a strong interest in organic farming can apply. Classes are on Sundays at Kurunegala and include field and industry visits. Six units cover organic farming systems and climate, production and farm management, soil nutrients and animal husbandry, supply chain and agribusiness, policies, standards and certification, and processing, post-harvest handling and product development. English-medium classes are offered at Kurunegala, over four months. The fee is LKR 100,000 plus LKR 5,000 for registration, and the page does not name an awarding body.
