KIU UniversityThe Master of Philosophy in Nursing [MPhil (Nursing)] at KIU is designed to develop the capacity of graduate nurses with advanced knowledge and skills in nursing, to conduct high quality nursing research, to continue postgraduate studies at higher levels, and to enhance the capacities of graduates to function as nursing academics, administrators, advanced practice nurses, and nurse researchers. This is a research-focused programme built around independent supervised research and a thesis. Completion of this level can lead to continued doctoral studies at SLQF Level 12 (PhD). The programme is accredited and recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
