3 Day Advanced Excel Workshop

About this course

This short course from the IIT Professional Development Unit is a three-day workshop on advanced Microsoft Excel, held on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Delivery is instructor-led in Colombo, with distance learning also listed. Participants customise Excel, apply mathematical, text and date functions, sort and filter data, use logical and lookup functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH), set up data validation and build pivot tables, charts, slicers and dashboards. The workshop closes with an introduction to VBA covering message boxes, IF and SELECT CASE and loops. It is aimed at finance and administration staff, analysts, project managers, students and business owners who already have basic Excel knowledge.
